Civil and Structural

Concrete does not forgive. Steel does not negotiate. Foundations, structures, industrial buildings and the finishing works that close them out.

This trade rewards discipline more than speed. A foundation is one of the few things on a project you genuinely cannot fix later without tearing something down. So we would rather spend an extra day on formwork, rebar checks and level surveys than explain a defect at handover.

We deliver reinforced concrete and structural steel packages for industrial and infrastructure clients, from equipment foundations and pipe racks through to full warehouse and plant buildings.

Concrete works and foundations

Equipment plinths, pile caps, rafts and slabs. Mix designs matched to exposure conditions, cubes tested, pours planned around temperature rather than the calendar.

Structural steel fabrication and erection

Fabrication to approved shop drawings, bolted and welded connections inspected before anything is buried behind cladding.

Underground structures and substructures

Sumps, pits, trenches and below-grade rooms, waterproofed and protected for a climate that attacks concrete from underneath.

Industrial buildings and warehouses

Portal frames, cladding, roofing, doors and floors built for forklift and rack loads, not just to enclose a space.

Blockwork and finishing works

Walls, screeds, coatings and the closing details that decide whether a building reads as finished or nearly finished.

Summer heat in the Eastern Province changes how concrete behaves. High ambient temperatures accelerate set, pull water out of the mix and cause plastic shrinkage cracking if a pour is planned badly. We shift large pours to night, chill water where it is justified, and cure properly instead of hoping. It is unglamorous and it is why the structures hold.

This scope rarely arrives alone. Most clients combine it with one or more of our other five disciplines under a single contract, which is the point of how we are set up — one accountable company, one schedule, one person answering for the result.
